Somnus Sleep Shipping & Delivery Policy
1. Delivery Areas & Costs
We are pleased to offer Free Standard Delivery to the majority of the UK Mainland.
• Surcharge Areas: Deliveries to the Scottish Highlands, Northern Ireland, and Offshore Islands may incur an additional shipping surcharge. Please contact us for a quote before placing your order.
2. Dispatch & Lead Times
All our beds are handcrafted to order to ensure the highest quality.
• Production Time: Please allow 5–10 working days for your bed to be manufactured.
• Delivery Time: Once dispatched, our specialist furniture courier will typically deliver your item within 2–5 working days.
3. The Delivery Process
To ensure your bed arrives safely, we use a specialist "white glove" or furniture-handling courier service.
• Booking Your Delivery: Our courier partner will contact you via text or call to schedule a delivery date once your order is ready.
• Delivery Window: You will be provided with a time slot on the day of delivery.
• Entrance Access: Please ensure that there is clear access to your property. Our standard delivery is to the ground floor/front door only.
4. Tracking Your Order
Once your bed has left our workshop, you will receive a dispatch email containing your tracking information or the contact details of the assigned courier.
5. Failed Delivery Attempts
Please ensure someone is home to receive the delivery on the agreed date. If a delivery is missed after a date has been confirmed, a redelivery fee of £40 may be charged by the courier to attempt a second drop-off.
6. Inspecting Your Delivery
Upon arrival, please check the number of boxes matches your delivery note. If any packaging looks significantly damaged, please sign for the delivery as "DAMAGED" and notify us within 24 hours.
